About the event
As part of the California State Fair's Cannabis Experience, the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) will host its inaugural Responsible Retail Access Day, inviting local elected officials, city and county staff, District Agricultural Associations, and regulatory partners to spend an afternoon learning about California's legal cannabis marketplace.
The event is free (registration required), and the program includes:

Roundtable discussion on responsible retail access
Guided tours of the Cannabis Experience
Local officials will have a forum to ask questions of DCC leadership and licensed operators, discuss implementation challenges, and better understand the state's regulatory expectations.
